Ezine Writing Easily Attract and Keep Buying Customers
Ezine writing ? seems such a lot of hard work doesn?t it? But an ezine helps establish you as an expert in your field, builds your opt in list and spreads your marketing message virally. So a lot of work but really worth it.
When starting an ezine you have a number of challenges ahead. These include:
* What subject to base your magazine on
* Where you market will be
* How to get contributors
* How to get subscribers
* How to get advertisers
You Subject and Your Market
Look for a niche that people are interested in. You can do this at the same time as seeking your market. Visit forums and message boards in a general subject area ? for example dog owning and find out what kind of things people are talking about. Yahoo groups are great for this. Work out what subjects to base your magazine on. This is also where you can begin to introduce your magazine.
Your Contributors
Go to the major article sites such as ezinearticles.com or articleshut.com and perform a search on your chosen subject. This is also a good way to define your niche as well. Contact the authors of suitable articles and ask them for permission to use the articles and for further contributions if you wish. Many will do this in exchange for a link or the resource book. Also put a form on your web site requesting contributions. You can also use PLR (private label rights) articles to base your contributions on. Please change them so that you give your readers fresh information.
Your Subscribers
You should use double opt in strategies. Offer your subscribers a useful ebook or report in exchange for signing up to your ezine. A good autoresponder service will facilitate this and manage your list keeping you the right side of the CAN Spam laws. Talk about your ezine in forums, on message boards, on all your web sites and in your products.
Your Advertisers
Advertisers will only advertise if they receive a return on their investment. I suggest that you firstly offer your potential advertiser a no cost trial. You could also swap advertising with another ezine. You should also place your own adverts with affiliate links or for your own products. Be careful with your content to advert ratios though.
Lastly get feedback from your readers and strive to continually improve.
